How to log-in as a Customer:
Should you need to access a Customer’s account as if you were the customer, follow the steps below.
NOTE: When logged in, you effectively ARE THE CUSTOMER. So please be very careful about what you do in their account.
ONLY website admins will have access to log-in as a customer.
Steps:
From the WordPress admin area, go to the Users menu item in the left menu, to see all the members.
Find the Customer you are looking for and when you mouse over their name, press the “Switch To” link that appears.
Once you press this link, you will be taken directly to the members account page, as shown below.
You will see a link at the bottom of the page that says “Switch back to admin” as indicated
This link will be at the very bottom of all pages, whilst you are logged in as the customer.
Once you have completed what you need to do, scroll down and press this link to return log out.
You must ensure you always log-out when you are done.
